Since my first experience with building my own website using Jeeran in 2001 while studying (or pretending to study) at the University of British Columbia… much has changed.
The changes that occurred are a of course a result of the passing time which brings new things to the table of life on which we are always sitting to eat, taste, and try new things. The web has also changed drastically since. I will not even attempt to delve into this matter.
Since 2001 I have tried to sustain online presence in one form or another. But throughout the years I have realized that I did not manage to preserve my presence in such a manner that was sustainable or progressive. I would always find something to get busy with and with time I would find my blog, website, etc… withering due to lack of nurture.
I have decided once and for all to either do it… or do it, fail, and give up. That’s it for me. This is my last shot at having my own blog. If I succeed, kudos to me. If I fail… let’s not visualize failure at this point shall we?
So I’m using Wordpress as my blog-engine of choice. I love Wordpress and I recommend that everyone with a half decent blog migrate to Wordpress. If you need any help with creating your own blog or customizing it, do let me know. I have sufficient experience with modifying and customizing Wordpress blogs that I can definitely be of assistance.
On my blog I will not be covering certain topics but instead will be using this medium as a place to ramble and rant, critique, commend, support, nag, or otherwise vent about a spectrum of things that I encounter in my day to day life.
Let’s hope it works this time around.
